ABSTRAK Latar belakang : kegagalan pengambilan darah merupakan penyisipan jarum yang gagal ke dalam vena yang disebabkan oleh dua faktor yaitu kesalahan teknik dan non teknik. Sehingga harus diberhentikan ditengah proses pengambilan darah dan kantong darah tentunya tidak dapat digunakan dengan maksimal. Tujuan : mengetahui gambaran darah donor gagal pengambilan donor luar gedung di UDD PMI Surakarta tahun 2021. Metode : jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, populasi sebanyak 764 pendonor. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling yang dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin. Data yang digunakan data sekunder diolah dengan spss dan Microsoft excel. Hasil : menunjukkan kegagalan pengambilan darah donor luar gedung berdasarkan periode waktu bulan agustus 46 (17,5%). Dan pada berdasarkan golongan darah adalah O 85 (32,3%). Kesimpulan : gambaran darah donor gagal pengambilan donor luar gedung di UDD PMI Surakarta pada tahun 2021 paling banyak terjadi pada bula agustus sebanyak 46 (17,5%). Dan golongan darah paling banyak terjadi kegagalan pengambialn pada golongan arah O sebanyak 85 (32,3%). Kata kunci : kegagalan pengambilan darah, luar gedung ABSTRACT Background : failure to draw blood is a failed needle insertion into the vein caused by two factors, namely technical and non-technical errors. So it must be stopped in the middle of the blood collection process and the blood bag certainly cannot be used optimally. Objective : to find out the description of donor blood that failed to take outside donors at UDD PMI Surakarta in 2021. Methods : descriptive research type with a quantitative approach, a population of 764 donors. Determination of the sample using a sampling which is calculated using the slovin formula. The data used are secondary data processed with spss and Microsoft excel. Result : shows the failure of taking blood donor outside the building based on the period of August 46 (17,5%). And based on blood type is O 85 (32.3%). Conclusion : the picture of blood donors failing to take outside donors at UDD PMI Surakarta in 2021 mostly occurred in August as many as 46 (17.5%).
